The main eight story building that faces Martin Luther King Blvd. had its color changed from a dingy white to a pleasant rusty brown to blend with adjacent buildings on their site. We congratulate the staff for this welcome change.

On June 27th a facilitated meeting was held at the Martineztown Senior Center to discuss some other changes now in the planning stages. They will be improving the main north entrance with decorative paving and landscaping, adding parapets to disguise mechanical equipment. One parapet will add seven and a half feet to a small area of the north roofline. These changes will not be visible from MLK Blvd. New way-finding signage is planned to assist patients and visitors. Rob Dickson suggested that signage be carefully researched for the best effect.
