Tobias White has lived in our neighborhood for about eight years. In the summer of 2009 he decided to open his own business. His goal was to create healthy “fast food” with local organic produce and to support our local farmers. He hoped to increase local spending and investment in our own community. These ideas were behind the creation of his food truck, Good Food Eat Here, and his catering business.

The menu at Good Foot Eat Here is a mixture of raw vegan and hot vegetarian dishes. I have eaten there many times and find it to be some of the best food in town. Tobias uses as much local produce as possible and his ingredients are organic.

Tobias says his biggest challenge has been trying to find a sustainable business model given the high cost of the food he purchases for his menu.

You can find Tobias and his truck at the Downtown Grower’s Market on Saturday mornings at Robinson Park. He also parks his truck at other locations around town like Marble Brewery, La Cumbre Brewing Company and other local businesses and events. Check out Facebook to find out where the truck can be found on any given day.

Please support our local businesses and if you haven’t tried Tobias’ food you are missing a neighborhood treasure.

Also, if anyone has or knows of a commercial parking lot where the truck could be parked overnight, please contact Tobias.
